MIFWIFERY CARE FOR POSTPARTUM MOTHERS WITH EDUCATION ON LONG TERM CONTRACEPTIVE METHODS MKJP USING POSTERS AT PMB HJ. SITI SAIDAH S. Keb

Abstract

Background: The accome of postpartum visit services (78,9%) compared to neonatal visits (94%). There is a gap between postpartum visits and neonatal visits (15%) because the mother is not examined when bathing the baby or neonatal visits. Interest in using MKJP such as Implant or IUD at South Alalak Health Center is also low from 155 active KB participants only 34 people use MKJP

Objective: Knowing the problem of midwifery care during the puerperium and providing health education with poster media regarding MKJP modified from the KIA book, on Mrs. N  PMB Hj. Siti Saidah Banjarmasin.

Method: descriptive method of the principle of midwifery care management SOAP the author gave care to Mrs. N from May 15, 2024 at PMB Hj. Siti Saidah Banjarmasin. The author observes the condition of the mother and her baby, taking care of the postpartum mother and her baby according to the standard, providing health education with KIA books, using posters about MKJP.

Result: In obstetric care during this postpartum period, it is stated that Mrs. N 28 years old P3A0 postpartum 6 hours with physiological. If seen from the results of the examination, it is in accordance with the standard, including the anticipation of puerperal blood discharge, the first postpartum visit is also carried out 6 hours after giving birth and the height of the fundus is 2 fingers below the center, good contractions, lochea rubra is bright red and on the 43rd day after giving birth, the mother uses an Implanted contraceptive device.
