Third Trimester Pregnancy Care for Mrs. N with Exclusive Breastfeeding Education Using Mugs at PMB Leni Triyana, S.Keb, Banjarmasin City

Abstract

More than half of babies are exclusively breastfed from 0-6 months of age without being given anything other than breast milk. Exclusive breastfeeding in South Kalimantan Province in 2023 reached 16,373 babies (58.68%,) from a total of 27,902 babies. The highest coverage was in Tabalog Regency (73.5%) and the lowest in Banjar Regency (23.3%). Preparation for breastfeeding for mothers began from pregnancy in order to prepare for breastfeeding starting from IMD. As many as 31.36% of 37.94% of children were sick because they did not receive exclusive breastfeeding. The type of case study used in this final assignment report is by using a descriptive method. The case taken by the author in this Final Assignment Report is a case of care for pregnant women, which was carried out from May 28, 2024 to June 28, 2024. Pregnancy care was provided according to the 10 T standards plus exclusive breastfeeding education using mugs, and the results were that the mother was willing to provide breast milk.
